Potato Wedges

Potato Wedges


Makes 1 serving.

  • 1 Large Potato
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • (Optional) 1 tbsp garlic powder


  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/Gas Mark 6.
  2. Wash potatoes, cut in half and then slice into wedges. Place in a baking tray.
  3. Pour over olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic (optional) and shake wedges to coat evenly. Spread out on the baking tray so they aren’t touching.
  4. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until soft on the inside and starting to brown on the outside.


Use different herbs and spices to change the flavour.


Instead of potato, try sweet potato, parsnips, carrots, courgette or aubergines!
