Cheesy Muffins

Ingredients

  • 240g cheese, grated
  • 200g self-raising flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 pint of milk
  • 12 muffin cases

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 210°C/Gas Mark 8.
  2. Line your tray with muffin cases.
  3. In a large bowl combine self-raising flour, salt, sugar & cheese and mix together.
  4. In a small bowl combine the egg & milk and beat with a fork until well mixed.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and very gently mix them - be careful not to over mix.
  6. Pour/spoon into the muffin cases about 3/4 full.
  7. Bake for 10-12 mins until muffins are a nice light golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and cool for 5 minutes.

Extras

Try adding cooked ham into mix.
