Eggy Bread

Eggy Bread


  • 5 Eggs
  • 8 slices of bread
  • 5 tablespoons semi-skimmed milk
  • 15g butter
  • 1 tsp oil


  1. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the milk and whisk it all up
  2. Dip a piece of bread into the egg mixture making sure all the bread is completely covered.
  3. Add a small knob of butter and a splash of oil into a frying pan until melted and bubbling.
  4. Add the slice of bread to the pan and cook for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Repeat this with the rest of the butter and bread. Stack completed pieces on a plate to keep warm, or eat immediately.
