Boiled Egg and Soldiers

Question:
Boiled Egg and Soldiers
Answer:

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 slices of bread
  • (Optional) Butter

Instructions

  1. Place a saucepan half full with cold water onto the hob and heat until boiling.
  2. Once the water is boiling place the 4 eggs in the water and leave for 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile place your bread into a toaster or under the grill until brown.
  4. After 4 minutes place pan over sink and pour out hot water. Run cold water into the pan to cool eggs and prevent further cooking.
  5. Remove eggs from pan using a large spoon. Butter your toast and cut into finger sized pieces. Place your egg into an egg cup and cut off the top of the egg.
  6. Now you are ready to dip your toast into your egg.

Extras

Cooking your egg for a shorter or longer time will give you a more or less runny yolk.

If you don't have an egg cup, use a small yoghurt pot instead!
