Various Toppings Omelette

Various Toppings Omelette


  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Splash of milk
  • (Optional) Salt and pepper

Toppings - Pick 1 or more

  • 20g cheese, grated
  • 2 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 bacon rasher, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, sliced or diced
  • 1/4 pepper, sliced or diced


  1. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add a splash of milk and whisk with a fork. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Add 1tbsp of oil to a frying pan and heat gently. Add any ingredients that need to be cooked (e.g mushrooms, bacon) and fry gently until cooked.
  3. Add the cooked ingredients into the egg mix and stir - adding any other ingredients that didn’t need cooking.
  4. Heat 1tbsp oil in the pan and add the egg mixture and cook on a low heat.
  5. For a firmer top, place the pan under the grill. Do not use a pan with a plastic handle, and use an oven mitt to touch the handle as it will be hot.


Serve with chips, potato wedges or a salad for a more filling meal.
