Ham & Mushroom Pasta

Ham & Mushroom Pasta


Serves 4.

  • 400g dried pasta
  • 100g mushrooms, chopped
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped fine
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp creme fraiche or double cream
  • Splash of lemon juice (half a lemon or from a bottle)
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Put pasta in a pan and cover with boiling water, cook until pasta is soft.
  2. In a separate pan heat the oil and fry the onion and garlic for a couple of minutes.
  3. Add the mushrooms and fry for a few more minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the creme fraiche and ham. Add the lemon juice and herbs and mix.
  5. Mix the pasta and serve.


Serve with garlic bread.


Use tagliatelle pasta instead of penne or fusilli.
