Tomato Pasta Bake

Tomato Pasta Bake


  • 400g dried pasta
  • 1 tin (400g) of chopped tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves, sliced thin
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 stock cube disolved in water (follow instructions on packet)
  • Salt, pepper, mixed herbs


  1. Put pasta in a pan and cover with boiling water, cook until pasta is soft.
  2. In a separate pan add the garlic, tomatoes, onion, carrot and stock and then season with salt, pepper and herbs.
  3. Bring to the boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Puree if you like a smooth sauce.
  4. Add the cooked pasta and stir.


Top with cheese and grill or bake until the cheese is melted.

Add cooked meat such as chicken, or beef mince.

Serve with a side salad or garlic bread.
