• Staffordshire County Council using Animal Penalty Notices to deliver earlier and proportionate methods of tackling animal welfare breaches

• Seven penalty notices have been issued in last 12 months

• Notices issued where there were failures to protect animals from suffering, injury or death, breaking movement rules and for poor record keeping

• The Mini Moments campaign provides free activities via email to help children's confidence, connection with parents/carers, learning and development.
