Description
Recycle:  Kitchen knives can be taken to any of Staffordshire's Recycling Centres and placed in the scrap metal container

Disposal:  You can put knives in your general waste bin. Please wrap the blade in newspaper or card. Waste collected from your kerbside waste bin will not landfilled, it will be sent to one of Staffordshire's energy recovery plants where the is waste burnt to produces energy. This is turned into electricity and put back into the National Grid. Strong magnets remove metals from the ash.
