National lockdown: Stay at home

Do It Staffordshire

We are all #DoingOurBit to make Staffordshire a better place to live and work. Whether we are doing small things, like picking up litter to help keep our streets clean, or big things, like formal volunteering to help our local communities.

The Doing Our Bit initiative aims to encourage all residents of Staffordshire to think about what one more thing they can do to help themselves, their families and their local communities.

Staffordshire County Council and Support Staffordshire have worked together to create a digital solution, to improve your volunteering experience.

We have joined forces with the popular ‘Do It’, volunteering platform to create a Staffordshire only area of the website.

View the Do It website

It enables residents to sign up to be a ‘Staffordshire Volunteer’ and find local volunteering opportunities.

The system also enables local voluntary organisations, mutual aid groups and charities to digitally share their opportunities for free and manage all the volunteering applications they receive.

You can sign up to Do It Staffordshire and start searching for a local Staffordshire volunteering opportunities.

If you want help setting up your profile as an organisation or as a volunteer, you can contact Support Staffordshire on 0300 777 1207 or via info@supportstaffordshire.org.uk
