Free advertising

Your childcare business can get free online advertising through the Staffordshire Connects website.

This is a very popular site used by parents looking for childcare. Through this site you can register to access your childcare record already provided to us by Ofsted.

By January 2026, the Department for Education require early years providers to advertise their funded offer and costs on their own and / or local authority website.

How to register and update your childcare record

You can register for free by completing the fields as requested. Further guidance is available on the registration page.

You will be able to update

  • vacancies you have and age ranges.
  • the costs of childcare and additional services
  • Inclusion/ SEND information
  • school pick-ups/ drops offs
  • opening hours, and more

Please note: Changes required to the provider's address, telephone and email contacts, setting name, providers must notify Ofsted directly.
