Some providers and parents have shared confusion at which entitlements/supplements need to be re-applied for and how long children are eligible for. Here is a summary:
Think2 (2-year-olds)
Families who have a voucher (or Golden Ticket during trial) remain eligible for the funded 15 hours* even if their circumstances change. A ‘re-application’ is not required and children should automatically transfer to the universal entitlement the term after their third birthday.
Universal 15 hour entitlement (3 and 4-year funding)
Families of 3 and 4-year-olds are entitled to the funded 15 hours* from the term after turing 3 years old.
30 hour* childcare (3 & 4-year-olds)
Families will a unique access code will have to re-apply every three months to continue to receive extended 15 hours.

Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP for less advantaged 3 and 4-year-olds)
Eligible children (confirmed via the Early Years Provider Portal) remain eligible for three terms within the academic year. View more details.
Disability Access Finding (DAF for 3 and 4-year-olds in receipt of Disability Living Allowance)
A one off grant is issued to the provider who has applied for an eligible child for a calendar year. If the child is splitting their entitlement the parent decides which setting receives the grant. View further details.
*the full weekly entitlement is applicable to the term time only offer (over 38-weeks). Some providers may decide to 'stretch' funding over more weeks of the year but for less funded hours per week.
