If you don't know which bus you need to catch, an online journey planner is provided by Traveline.

The Traveline journey planner includes other public transport options as well as buses and can also be accessed by phone on 0871 200 22 33 (calls cost 12p per minute, plus your phone company’s access charges).

Dial a ride services and community voluntary transport schemes

These are a form of pre-booked transport using smaller vehicles instead of large buses. Anyone living within the operating area, who cannot access a local bus service, can use the services for any purpose.
