Changes to bus services are listed by month, with additional pages for Christmas, New Year and Easter.
Bus services are liable to change at short notice, and any changes will be added throughout the month.

Revised timetables are available on Traveline and on our plan your journey page two weeks before the amendment date, or you can email publictransport@staffordshire.gov.uk for a timetable.

Changes to bus times

January 2026

from 2 January

  • Service 406 (Uttoxeter Circular) will be operated by Evolve Bus with a timing change on the last journey.

 

from 3 January

  • Arriva Bus service 2 (Tamworth - Perrycrofts Circular) will have a revised route and timetable and will no longer serve Ventura Park. Buses will operate from Corporation Street rather than Victoria Road in Tamworth town centre.
  • Arriva Bus service 3 (Tamworth - Coton Green) will have a revised timetable.
  • Arriva Bus service 9 (Bridgnorth - Wolverhampton) will have a revised route in Wolverhampton.
  • New Arriva bus service 10 will operate a half hourly Monday to Saturday service between Tamworth and Ventura Park.
  • Arriva Bus service 11 (Tamworth - Dunstall Park) will be cancelled. Dunstall Park will be served by the new service 6.
  • Arriva Bus service 65 (Tamworth - Nuneaton) will be renumbered as service 6 with a revised timetable and will be extended to serve Dunstall Park.
  • Arriva Bus service 785 (Tamworth - Polesworth) will have a revised timetable with one journey a day extended to serve Ventura Park.

from 4 January

  • Service 25 (Wolverhampton - i54) will be operated by Chaserider with slight timetable variations.

from 5 January

  • Diamond Bus service 10 (Burton - Rough Hay) has been replaced by Evolve Bus service The Little Acorn with some timetable revisions.
  • LA Travel service 12E (Burton - Lichfield) will be cancelled. Bus Link will operate Monday to Saturday, early morning and evenings, with some timetable revisions. Diamond Bus will operate a Sunday service.
  • LA Travel service 12A/12B (Fradley - John Taylor High School) will have a revised route and timetable.
  • Diamond Bus service 19C (Moira - Burton) will operate a revised route and timetable due to a road closure in Linton Heath.
  • Diamond Bus service 21E (Burton - Swadlincote) will operate a revised route and timetable due to a road closure in Linton Heath.
  • Aimee’s Travel service 108 (Ashbourne - Buxton) will have a revised Monday to Friday timetable with the last journey leaving Leek at 1545 instead of 1615.
  • Bus Link service 807 (Beam Hill - John Taylor School) will have a revised timetable.
  • Bus Link service 808 (Yoxall - John Taylor School) will have a revised timetable.
  • Bus Link service 809 / 810 (Burton - John Taylor School) will have a revised timetable.
  • Bus Link service 811 (Alrewas - John Taylor School) will have a revised timetable.
  • Bus Link service 817 (Alrewas - Friary School) will have a revised timetable.
  • Bus Link service 818 (Fradley - Friary School) will have a revised timetable.
  • Chaserider service 841 (Stafford - Uttoxeter) will have a revised route and timetable. The morning schoolday journey will be renumbered as 841A and extended from Weston High School to Stafford town centre.

from 19 January

  • New Select Bus service 17 will operate between Wheaton Aston and Wolverhampton, Monday to Friday. Journeys will leave Wheaton Aston, Coach and Horses at 0850, 1010, 1220 and 1340 operating via Bishops Wood, Codsall Wood and Codsall. Return journeys leave Wolverhampton at 0930, 1100, 1300 and 1420.

from 26 January 

  • Select Bus service 17 (Wheaton Aston - Wolverhampton) will have additional journeys. There will be an 0705 journey from Wheaton Aston at 0705 to Bishops Wood 0713, which will continue into Wolverhampton by request of passengers already on the bus. A 1710 journey will leave from Wolverhampton, Lichfield Street. All stops after this will be set down only for passengers boarding in Wolverhampton.

A Saturday service will operate on:

  • All Arriva Midlands services, except 65.
  • Bus Link services 31, 32 and X66.
  • Chaserider services 36/36A.
  • All National Express WM services, except 10/10A (Perton).
  • Select Bus services 6, 8/8A, 9, 12, 33, 67, 406, 875, 876 and 877.
  • All Trent Barton services, with early finishes on the Swift and X38.

A special timetable will operate on:

  • National Express WM services 10/10A (Perton).

Christmas Eve   

Evening services will finish early (around 6-7pm), except:

  • Most National Express WM services will finish between 2200 and 2230.

A normal Monday to Friday service will operate on:

  • All Aimee’s Travel services.

  • Ashbourne Little Bus service 411.
  • Bus Link services 83/84.
  • Border Car Dial-a-ride service.
  • All Chaserider services, except 36/36A.

A Saturday service will operate on:

No Services will operate.       

Boxing Day 

No Services will operate, except:

  • Most National Express WM services will operate a modified Sunday service with an early finish. There will be no service on routes 5 (Codsall) and 25 (i54). Service 8 will terminate in Brownhills and service X51 will terminate in Walsall.

Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 December

Normal weekend services will operate, except:

  • Select Bus services 6, 8/8A, 9, 12, 873 and 875 will not operate on Saturday 27th.

Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 December

A normal Monday to Friday service will operate on:

  • All Aimee’s Travel services
  • Bennetts Travel services 102/102A.
  • Border Car Dial-a-ride service.

No Services will operate, except:

  • A Sunday timetable will operate on Chaserider services 36/36A.
  • Most National Express WM services will operate a modified Sunday service with an early finish. There will be no service on routes 5 (Codsall) and 25 (i54). Service 8 will terminate in Brownhills and service X51 will terminate in Walsall.

Friday 2 January

From Saturday 3 January

Normal services will resume.

December 2025

from 1 December

  • Evolve bus service The Tutbury Jinnie (Burton - Tutbury) will have minor timetable revisions. The first journey from Burton will leave 10 minutes earlier at 0750.

from 10 December

  • New Select Bus service 873 will operate one return journey a day between Wheaton Aston and Penkridge on Wednesdays and Saturdays, for a 3 month trial period.

November 2025

from 1 November

  • Chaserider service 62 (Cannock - Lichfield) will have a revised timetable.
  • The A34 in Stafford will re-open inbound and Chaserider services 74 (Stafford - Cannock) and 827 (Stafford - Milwich circular) will revert to their pre-roadworks routes with revised timetables.
  • Chaserider service 826 will have a revised route and timetable, extending to serve Brereton, Handsacre and Lichfield but no longer serving Etching Hill.
  • Chaserider service 828 will have a revised timetable. New hourly service 828A will operate between Stafford and Rugeley, Power Station Road. This route will also serve Etching Hill to replace the 826.

from 2 November

  • Diamond Bus service 66 (Tamworth - Birch Coppice) will have a revised Monday to Friday timetable.
  • Diamond Bus services 76 / 76A / 76B will have a revised route and timetable. New service 76C will operate between Tamworth, Kingsbury and Coleshill Monday to Saturday. New service 76S will operate between Kingsbury, Curdworth and Kingsbury on Schooldays only.

from 3 November

  • New LA Travel service 103 will operate from Rugeley to Lichfield on schooldays only, replacing the 105D closed school service.
  • Select Bus service 876 (Stafford - Wolverhampton) will have revised school day journey times.
  • Select Bus service 877 (Stafford - Wheaton Aston) will have slight timetable revisions. The 1705 journey will operate beyond Castlefields by request only.

from 9 November

  • New Diamond Bus service 7 / 7A will operate between Burton, Horninglow and Queens Hospital. Both services will operate half hourly Monday to Saturday. Service 7A will also operate an hourly Sunday service.
  • Diamond Bus service 8 (Burton - Swadlincote) will have a revised route and timetable. The service will start at Burton New Street and Queens Hospital will be served by new services 7/7A.
  • Diamond Bus service 9 (Burton - East Midlands Gateway) will have a revised route and timetable. The service will start at Burton New Street and Queens Hospital will be served by new services 7/7A.
  • Chaserider service 828 (Stafford - Lichfield) will be diverted in Brereton between 0803 and 1130 due to the Remembrance Parade. The service will operate along Armitage Road instead of Brereton Main Road and the A51 link road.

from 10 November

  • D&G Bus service 32A (Uttoxeter - Stoke) will change to the Winter timetable.
  • D&G Bus service X41 (Stafford - Alton Towers) will be cancelled.

October 2025

From 6 October

  • Bus Link service 83 / 84 (Clifton Campville - Tamworth) will have a revised timetable.
  • Bus Link service X66 (Lichfield – Tamworth) will have a revised timetable.

From 13 October

  • Evolve Bus will operate a new Monday to Saturday service 406 (Uttoxeter Circular). Select Bus continue to operate a Monday to Friday service. UPDATE - Evolve Bus have now withdrawn their registration of this service and Select Bus will continue to operate a Monday to Saturday service.

From 26 October

  • Diamond Bus service NMA1 (Tamworth - National Memorial Arboretum) will have a revised timetable, as the last inbound trip only operates during British summer time.

From 27 October

  • Evolve Bus service 1 (Burton - Tutbury) will be renamed The Tutbury Jinnie and will have a revised route, serving Athelstan Way, and timetable.
  • National Express WM service X3 (Lichfield - Birmingham) will have a revised timetable.
