- From 12 July there will be highway improvement works at the Beaufort Road / Violet Way junction with Grafton Road at Brizlincote as part of the planning permission granted for the new ‘Encore’ housing development at the former Model Dairy Farm off Grafton Road.
- The installation of a new traffic free bridge over the river Trent approximately midway between the two existing traffic bridges (St Peter’s Bridge and Burton Bridge).
- Staffordshire County Council proposes to implement improvements to the cycle infrastructure along the National Cycle Network (NCN) route 63 between Ferry bridge and Bluestone Lane in Stapenhill, Burton. Work commences on 25 April 2022 to 5 August 2022.
