Independent person for secure accommodation reviews

An Independent Person sits on panels that review whether a young person should remain in secure accommodation. Their role is to provide impartial oversight and ensure decisions are fair and legally compliant. 

Eligibility

Any Child or Young Person (up to age 18) placed in secure accommodation 

Referrals

Referrals for this service are made directly by Social Workers.
