Performance

The County Council's Strategic Plan sets out our ambitions and priorities for the years ahead, what we want to achieve and how we intend to do so over the next four years (2022 - 2026).  The Strategic Plan outlines our vision, to create an innovative, ambitious, and sustainable county, where everyone has the opportunity to prosper, be healthy and happy.

As a result of this vision the Strategic Plan outlines three priority outcomes that we keep at the heart of what we do, and how we aim to achieve them. Our three priority outcomes are that the people of Staffordshire will:

  • have access to more good jobs and share the benefits of economic growth;
  • live in thriving and sustainable communities;
  • be healthier and independent for longer.

Our integrated performance management model provides a framework through which we can monitor our performance in delivering our priorities and can help us to understand if we are achieving our vision. Our reporting also provides an update on our continuing drive to be a well-run council, including the financial position of the County Council and delivery of the Medium-Term Financial Strategy. These reports can be viewed below.
