Our responsibilities

We work on resurfacing the roads, improving footpaths, and other road improvements. We also co-ordinate other organisations' road works along with our own to minimise disruption.

Underneath the roads is a network of pipes, wires and cables, which means that road works are also carried out by:

  • Gas companies
  • Water companies
  • Phone companies
  • Electricity companies
  • Housing developers
