Answer:

The programme is for children and young people aged 5 - 16 years who receive benefit related free school meals. There are limited places made available to children and young people who could benefit from a HAF place, they need to be nominated by a registered agency.

Eligible children and young people will be able to attend free holiday activities, providing healthy food, fun and sports, during the school holidays. If your child is eligible, they should have received a letter from their school.

You should have received a letter from your child’s school. Your child’s registration code is printed on this letter. You will need this code to access the programme and you should register each child.

Registration opens at 4pm on Monday 1 December 2022. Once you have submitted your registration form, the timetable of activities will be made available to you and you can book the ones that are suitable. You can book up to 8 activity sessions (subject to availability)

Activities will be available to attend from Monday 19 December until Friday 30 December 2022. The holiday activities all meet our safeguarding policies and latest government COVID-19 guidelines.

All organisers are required to deliver activities in line with the most recent COVID-19 guidelines as issued by Central Government.  If you are worried about COVID-19 or your child or family member shows signs of COVID, please tell the organiser as soon as possible and self-isolate as required.

Unfortunately, the organisers of the cancelled activities will not be able to issue meals on the day/s of cancellation. However, you will still qualify for any food vouchers that are issued.
