Early years portal

Providers must be registered to offer funded places to have an EY Portal account to submit funding claims.

Guidance notes on using the EY Portal

For support on: assisting parents with 2 year (Think2) funded applications, check Think2 codes, validating 30 hour codes, submit headcount tasks, accessing statements and accessing the monthly EYPP eligibility report/ requesting evidence from parents -  please see the guidance notes below:

Ethnicity codes

This data is required by the Department for Education. Not recording the correct information for each child could result in delayed payments. The correct ethnicity codes can be reviewed in the document below:

How to get an account to the early years portal?

New access requests: providers may require multiple users to access the EY Portal account for the setting and these can be requested by completing the user account request form below.

Leavers: similarly, when a staff member who has ey portal access leaves the setting, that person's access must to be removed as soon as possible. This can be done completing the form (below).

*Please make sure you have indicated on the form whether it is a new user or the removal of an existing user's account that is required.
