Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Skills Bootcamps

Skills Bootcamps are flexible training courses for adults and are available in a range of sectors such as digital, engineering or green skills.

Training providers for skills bootcamps

Keele University 

Keele University has a top award called Gold for teaching. It was also rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted in 2023. They offer many ways to learn, such as beginner courses, degrees, apprenticeships, short courses, and online study.  

Performance Through People 

Performance Through People is rated “Good” by Ofsted. They help people learn new skills for work. They also help businesses grow by offering training and apprenticeships.  

South Staffordshire College 

South Staffordshire College is rated “Good” by Ofsted.  It has five sites in Lichfield, Rodbaston, Cannock, and Tamworth. They offer full-time courses, part-time courses, apprenticeships, and courses in the community.  

Stoke on Trent College 

This is the biggest college in Stoke and North Staffordshire. Students can study full-time or part-time, do apprenticeships, or take higher-level courses.  Each year, they help thousands of people learn skills for work. 

The Construction Skills People 

This group teaches skills for construction jobs. They offer many training courses and work-based learning.  They help people get the right qualifications to work safely in construction. 

The Spark Group 

The Spark Group helps young people learn skills, especially those not in school, work, or training. They work with schools, colleges, and employers.  They help people find new opportunities, including jobs in green (environment-friendly) careers.

Providers must be an approved supplier on the Framework to be notified of future procurement opportunities.
