Standardised template section 106 agreements
Staffordshire’s local planning authorities, including the county council, have agreed on a standard template for section 106 agreements. This template is used for planning applications to Staffordshire’s district or borough councils.
The councils will share the template upfront, so applicants know what documents they need. This will make the process simpler and reduce delays and costs.
The template includes optional sections that apply depending on the type of development.
The councils do not plan to make major changes to the template. Only parts that clearly do not apply will be removed, as the template has already been agreed by all planning authorities.
