• More than 120 apprentices expected to attend.

Extra highways crews in place to tackle defects

• Staffordshire is adding 14 extra highways crews by the end of June to repair potholes and other road defects over the summer.
• The crews are part of a £15 million investment over two years to tackle more lower-level potholes.
• Based across Leek, Lichfield, Gailey and Stone, the aim is for residents to see smoother journeys across the county in the coming months.
