Staffordshire County Council together with Amey will shortly be carrying out carriageway coring and drainage investigations at the above location.

Further works - Carriageway resurfacing will be carried out approximately March 2024, exact details and further road closures will be confirmed in due course.

When are the works taking place?

The investigation works will commence on 27 November 2023.

What is the duration of the works?

Approximately ten week nights until 9 December 2023.

Will I be able to access my home/business?

To minimise traffic disruption, the works will be carried out at night times from 8pm to 6am during week nights only.

A full road closure will be in place from Ingestre Rd/Railway Bridge to the A34 gyratory roundabout.

Access to frontages and side roads within the works areas will be maintained as far as practically possible, travelling northbound only.

What effect could the works have on me?

We take care to make sure that work is completed with the minimum of disturbance to the local community but as with any major works, some delays may occur.

Although we will do our best to ensure that noise pollution is kept to a minimum, it is likely that construction noise will be heard during the working times.
