Structural Maintenance Works on D4406 Latherford Lane, Latherford
Staffordshire County Council’s Structural Maintenance Team will shortly begin resurfacing works on the D4406 Latherford Lane. This £177,000 scheme will resurface the carriageway between Lower Latherford Farm and Featherstone Lane.
When are the works taking place?
Works will start at 07:30 on Monday 23rd February 2026
When will the works be completed?
We expect the scheme to finish by Friday 6 March 2026.
Will I be able to access my home/business?
- The works will be taking place between 07:30 and 17:00. Vehicle access will not be possible during working times.
- For safety, the road will be fully closed during the works. Staff will be positioned at the closure point to help with access to landowners.
- Emergency services will be granted access when safe to do so.
What effect could the works have on me?
- Expect delays during working hours.
- There may be noise from machinery.
- You may need to move your vehicle on resurfacing days.
Affected properties will receive letters with full details.
