Overview
Traffic management is needed for most works or activities on the highway. This can include signs, traffic lights, or full road closures. Only qualified people can set up and remove traffic management. If you're not qualified, you must hire a company that is.

Using a Traffic Management Company
If you hire a company, you must include their details in your application. They must be registered with the Traffic and Network team and provide:
- Proof of accreditation
- Public liability insurance (£5 million)
