- Are lights controlled by pull cord switches?
- Are medicines and razors locked away?
- Are shampoos etc. stored in their original containers?
- Is there a lock on the door? Is it out of the reach of small children? If not, consideration needs to be given to how the carers will gain access in an emergency.
- Is the bathroom adequately ventilated?
