A safe and functional kitchen

  • Are sharp knives, scissors or other sharp utensils stored safely out of the reach of young children?
  • Is access to the hob, microwave and kettle etc. adequately restricted for young children?
  • Is food stored appropriately and the fridge kept at the correct temperature? (In their original containers)
  • Is there an accessible first aid box that complies with the guidance in the foster carers handbook?
