What we'll do:

• review your information and confirm what you pay and what the council pays
• explain when any funding can start and what we need from you
• tell you how to report changes to your income, savings or circumstances

We will confirm when any council funding can begin. This will depend on your circumstances, including:

• the date you asked us for help (if we have the information we need)
• the date we receive the evidence needed to complete your assessment
• the date your savings fall below £23,250

We will confirm the date any council funding can begin when we write to you with the outcome of your assessment.

If you need more time to return the form, please tell us. If we don’t receive it, you may be charged the full cost until we can assess you.
