Bus information totems
To complement real-time passenger information and improve journey experience, Bus Information Totems have been installed at key, high footfall locations to promote sustainable travel.
What is a bus information totem?
The bus information totem provides live bus times and scheduled information for multiple stops using the latest high brightness screens that can also provide other transport information such as train times etc. The flexibility of the displays allows the layout of the display screens to be changed to suit and promote local events and support council campaigns/messages. The strategic location and position of these totems allow passengers to access up to date transport information and help them plan their journeys before they get to the bus stops or rail & bus stations.
Where are they located?
Bus Information Totems have been installed at the following locations:
- Burton Town Centre
- Tamworth Town Centre
- Newcastle-Under-Lyme Town Centre
- Cannock Bus Station
- More locations to be confirmed.
Journey planning kiosk
In addition to the totems, we also have the journey planning kiosks available.
Top screen
The top screen of the kiosk provides real time bus information and rail information.
Bottom screen
The interactive touch screen at the bottom of the kiosk provides you with:
- a journey planner
- walking and cycling routes
- roadworks information
- bus routes
- timetables and maps
- other Staffordshire County Council services
- other useful websites
