Recent and upcoming changes to bus services
Changes to bus services are listed by month, with additional pages for Christmas, New Year and Easter.
Bus services are liable to change at short notice, and any changes will be added throughout the month.
Revised timetables for changes
Revised timetables should be available on Traveline and on our bus map and timetable pages two weeks before the amendment date, or you can email publictransport@staffordshire.gov.uk for a timetable.

from 1 December
- Evolve bus service The Tutbury Jinnie (Burton - Tutbury) will have minor timetable revisions. The first journey from Burton will leave 10 minutes earlier at 0750.
from 10 December
- New Select Bus service 873 will operate one return journey a day between Wheaton Aston and Penkridge on Wednesdays and Saturdays, for a 3 month trial period.

- Chaserider service 62 (Cannock - Lichfield) will have a revised timetable.
- The A34 in Stafford will re-open inbound and Chaserider services 74 (Stafford - Cannock) and 827 (Stafford - Milwich circular) will revert to their pre-roadworks routes with revised timetables.
- Chaserider service 826 will have a revised route and timetable, extending to serve Brereton, Handsacre and Lichfield but no longer serving Etching Hill.
- Chaserider service 828 will have a revised timetable. New hourly service 828A will operate between Stafford and Rugeley, Power Station Road. This route will also serve Etching Hill to replace the 826.
from 2 November
- Diamond Bus service 66 (Tamworth - Birch Coppice) will have a revised Monday to Friday timetable.
- Diamond Bus services 76 / 76A / 76B will have a revised route and timetable. New service 76C will operate between Tamworth, Kingsbury and Coleshill Monday to Saturday. New service 76S will operate between Kingsbury, Curdworth and Kingsbury on Schooldays only.
from 3 November
- New LA Travel service 103 will operate from Rugeley to Lichfield on schooldays only, replacing the 105D closed school service.
- Select Bus service 876 (Stafford - Wolverhampton) will have revised schoolday journey times.
- Select Bus service 877 (Stafford - Wheaton Aston) will have slight timetable revisions. The 1705 journey will operate beyond Castlefields by request only.
from 9 November
- New Diamond Bus service 7 / 7A will operate between Burton, Horninglow and Queens Hospital. Both services will operate half hourly Monday to Saturday. Service 7A will also operate an hourly Sunday service.
- Diamond Bus service 8 (Burton - Swadlincote) will have a revised route and timetable. The service will start at Burton New Street and Queens Hospital will be served by new services 7/7A.
- Diamond Bus service 9 (Burton - East Midlands Gateway) will have a revised route and timetable. The service will start at Burton New Street and Queens Hospital will be served by new services 7/7A.
- Chaserider service 828 (Stafford - Lichfield) will be diverted in Brereton between 0803 and 1130 due to the Remembrance Parade. The service will operate along Armitage Road instead of Brereton Main Road and the A51 link road.

- D&G Bus service 32A (Uttoxeter - Stoke) will change to the Winter timetable.
- D&G Bus service X41 (Stafford - Alton Towers) will be cancelled.

- Bus Link service X66 (Lichfield – Tamworth) will have a revised timetable.

- Evolve Bus will operate a new Monday to Saturday service 406 (Uttoxeter Circular). Select Bus continue to operate a Monday to Friday service. UPDATE - Evolve Bus have now withdrawn their registration of this service and Select Bus will continue to operate a Monday to Saturday service.
from 26 October
- Diamond Bus service NMA1 (Tamworth - National Memorial Arboretum) will have a revised timetable, as the last inbound trip only operates during British summer time.
from 27 October
- Evolve Bus service 1 (Burton - Tutbury) will be renamed The Tutbury Jinnie and will have a revised route, serving Athelstan Way, and timetable.
- National Express WM service X3 (Lichfield - Birmingham) will have a revised timetable.

- Arriva Midlands service 110 (Tamworth - Birmingham) will have a revised timetable and a revised route in Birmingham.
- National Express WM service X3 (Lichfield - Birmingham) will have a revised timetable.
- Arriva Midlands service X38 (Burton - Derby) will have a revised timetable. Sunday journeys will be cancelled. Trent Barton will continue to operate a Sunday timetable.
from 31 August
- First Potteries service 6A (Blythe Bridge - Hanley) will have a revised timetable.
- First Potteries service 11 (Newcastle - Hanley) will have a revised timetable.
- First Potteries service 11X (Newcastle - Hanley) will have a revised timetable.
- First Potteries service 36/36A (Kidsgrove - Meir) will have a revised timetable.
- National Express WM service 78/78A (Sutton Coldfield - Kingstanding) will have a revised route and timetable.
- South Derbyshire Coaches services 82 / 84 (Clifton Campville - Tamworth) will be renumbered as 83 and operated by Bus Link with a revised route and timetable.
- Service 84 (Clifton Campville - Tamworth) will be operated by Bus Link with a revised timetable.

- D&G Bus service 1 (Silverdale - Meir) will have a revised timetable.
- D&G Bus service 1A (Wood Lane - Meir) will have a revised timetable.
- Service 5 (Codsall - Wolverhampton) evening and Sunday journeys will be operated by National Express West Midlands. The Monday to Saturday daytime service will continue to be operated by Chaserider
- D&G Bus service 8A (Endon - Hanley) will have a revised timetable.
- Select Bus service 8/8A (Stafford - Redhill) will be unable to serve Parkside whilst the no right turn restriction is in place on Beaconside. The rest of the timetable will be unchanged with Crab Lane serving as the timing point, and the nearest stop to the Parkside estate, rather than the shopping precinct.
- New LA Travel service 14 will operate on schooldays only between Newborough, Yoxall and John Taylor High School.
- Diamond Bus service 25A (Dudley - Kidderminster) will have a revised timetable.
- D&G Bus service 32X (Uttoxeter - Hanley) will have minor timetable revisions.
- New Chaserider service 61 will operate Monday to Saturday between Chase Terrace, Boney Hay, Burntwood and Lichfield. This route will now serve Milestone Way instead of service 61.
- Chaserider service 62 (Cannock - Lichfield) will have a revised route (no longer serving Milestone Way) and timetable.
- Service 108 (Ashbourne - Leek - Buxton) will be operated by Aimee’s Travel with a revised timetable.
- Diamond Bus services 242 (Kinver - Stourbridge) will have minor timetable revisions. Service 242S will have revised times.
- Diamond Bus services 401 / 402 / 402A / 403 (Burton - Uttoxeter) will have revised timetables.
- Select Bus service 406 (Uttoxeter circular) will have minor timetable amendments.
- New D&G Bus service 446 will operate on schooldays only between Hookgate, Hale, Almington, Napley, Onneley and Madeley High School.
- Diamond Bus service 802 (Fauld - De Ferrers School) will be cancelled and replaced by a revised LA Travel service 1.
- Diamond Bus service 819 (Hill Ridware - Lichfield) will be cancelled and replaced by new LA Travel service 108, with a revised route and timetable.
- D&G Bus service X41 (Stafford - Alton Towers) will have a revised timetable until 3 November.
from 2 September
- Diamond Bus service 10 (Rough Hay- Burton) will have minor timetable revisions.
- Service 10S (Rough Hay - John Taylor Free School) will be operated by Bus Link instead of Diamond Bus with a revised route and timetable.
- Service 807 (Beam Hill - John Taylor High School) will be operated by Bus Link instead of Diamond Bus with a revised timetable.
- Service 808 (Yoxall - John Taylor High School) will be operated by Bus Link instead of Diamond Bus with the same timetable.
- Service 809 (Burton - John Taylor High School) will be operated by Bus Link instead of Diamond Bus with a revised route and timetable.
- Service 810 (Burton - John Taylor High School) will be operated by Bus Link instead of Diamond Bus with a revised route and timetable. The morning journey will commence in Shobnall.
- Service 811 (Alrewas - John Taylor High School) will be operated by Bus Link instead of Diamond Bus with a revised timetable.
- New Bus Link service 813 will operate on Schooldays only between Edingale, Croxall and John Taylor High School. This will be a local bus route replacing the cancelled South Derbyshire Coaches schools service 11.
- Service 817 (Alrewas - John Taylor High School) will be operated by Bus Link instead of Diamond Bus with a revised timetable.
- Service 818 (Fradley - John Taylor High School) will be operated by Bus Link instead of Diamond Bus with a revised timetable.
- Service 832 (Burton - John Taylor Free School) will be operated by Bus Link instead of Diamond Bus with a revised route and timetable.
from 6 September
- Select Bus service 9 (Stafford - Highfields) will have minor timetable amendments.
- Select Bus service 67 (Cannock - Wolverhampton) will have a new Saturday service.
from 21 September
- First Potteries service 25 (Keele - Newcastle) will change to the University terms timetable.
from 22 September
- LA Travel service 108 (Hill Ridware - Lichfield) will have a revised route and timetable. See School timetables pages (Friary and Netherstowe) for the details.

- National Express WM service X3 (Lichfield - Birmingham) will have a revised timetable and a revised route in Birmingham.
- National Express WM service X51 (Cannock - Birmingham) will have a revised route in Birmingham.

- First Bus service 25 (Keele - Hanley) will have a revised route following the completion of Stoke roadworks.
from 11 August
- D&G Bus service 9 (Biddulph - Westbury) will have a revised route due to roadworks in Stoke.
- D&G Bus service 100 (Stone - Hanley) will have a revised route due to roadworks in Stoke.
from 18 August
- Select Bus service 6 (Stafford - Rickerscote) will have a revised route and timetable. Due to disruption during roadworks the service will operate outbound along Wolverhampton Road, rather than A34 and Silkmore Lane.
There are no other service changes until the 30th / 31st August. These will be included in the September update.

- Select Bus service 875 (Stafford - Cannock) will have minor timetable revisions and a revised route around Mosspit in Stafford.
- Select Bus service 876 (Stafford - Wolverhampton) will have minor timetable revisions and a revised route around Mosspit in Stafford.
- Select Bus service 878 schoolday journey from Stafford will terminate at Bishops Wood.
from 13 July - Branston Bridge, Burton re-opens
- Diamond Bus services 12/12E and X12 (Burton - Lichfield) will revert to their pre-roadwork routes along Burton Road and Branston Road with revised timetables. Temporary service 112 will be cancelled.
- LA Travel services 12E/12A/12B (Burton - Lichfield) will have a revised route and timetable.

New timetables are available on the Chaserider website
- Service 60 (Cannock - Lichfield) will have new Sunday and later evening journeys.
- Service 74 (Stafford - Cannock) will have new Sunday and later evening journeys.
- Service 828 (Stafford - Lichfield) will have new later evening journeys
D&G Bus services
New timetables are available on the D&G Bus website.
- Service 94 (Newcastle - Congleton) will have a revised route and timetable, no longer operating via Bradwell. Bradwell will be served by the new services 34 and 104.
- Services 94A / 94B will be cancelled. Service 94A will be replaced by the revised service 94 and service 94B will be replaced by new service 34.
- Service 34 will be operated by D&G Bus between Newcastle and Bradwell. This will be a Monday to Friday service replacing the cancelled 94B.
- Service 104 will be operated by D&G Bus between Newcastle, Bradwell, Chatterley Valley, Festival Park and Hanley, Monday to Saturday.
National Express WM services
- Service 4 (Wolverhampton - i54) will have a revised summer timetable.
- Service 6/6A (Wolverhampton - i54) will have a revised summer timetable.
- Service 6 (Walsall - Sutton Coldfield) will have a revised summer timetable.
- Service 8 (Lichfield - Walsall) will have a revised summer timetable.
- Service 10 / 10A (Perton - Wolverhampton) will have a revised summer timetable.
- Service 16 (Wolverhampton - Stourbridge) will have a revised summer timetable.

- National Express WM service 16 (Wombourne - Stourbridge) will have a revised route in Wombourne and a revised timetable.
- National Express WM service 78 / 78A (Sutton Coldfield - Kingstanding) will have a revised timetable and a revised route in Streetly.
- National Express WM service X51 (Cannock - Birmingham) will have a revised timetable.
- Trent Barton service X38 (Burton - Derby) will have a revised timetable and a revised route in Derby.

- South Derbyshire Coaches service 1 (Burton - Tutbury) will have revised times for the first journey out of Tutbury.
From 30 June until mid October - roadworks on A34 Stafford
- The A34 in Stafford will be closed inbound between Queensville roundabout and St Leonard’s Avenue. Chaserider services 74, 826 and 827 will divert from Queensville roundabout via Silkmore Lane, Rickerscote Road and the A449. Buses won’t pick up or set down between Co-op Funeral Care on Silkmore Lane and The Green. Outbound services from Stafford will be unaffected.

- Diamond Bus service 9 (Queens Hospital - East Midlands Gateway) will have a revised timetable.
- Diamond Bus service 401 (Burton - Uttoxeter) will have a revised timetable.
From 5 May
- New Chaserider service 827 will operate a circular service between Stafford, Baswich, Milford, Brocton and Wildwood. There will be 6 journeys a day Monday to Saturday.
From 16 May
- Service 5 (Codsall - Wolverhampton) will be operated by Chaserider, replacing the current 5 / X5 operated by Banga Travel. This will be a half hourly service with all journeys operating via Bilbrook Road.
- Chaserider services 25/26 (Cannock - Pye Green Circulars) will have minor timetable revisions.
- Chaserider services 70 / 71 (Cannock - Wolverhampton) will have revised timetables.
From 18 May
- Diamond Bus service 1 (Burton - Tutbury) will be operated by South Derbyshire Coaches, with some timetable revisions. LA Travel will operate a return schoolday journey between Tutbury and De Ferrers Academy.
- Service 12E (Burton - Lichfield) will have a revised timetable. Most journeys will be operated by LA Travel, with some early and late journeys operated by Diamond Bus.
