Changes to bus services

from 31 October

• Arriva Midlands services 2 (Tamworth - Gilway) will have a revised timetable.
   
• Arriva Midlands services 3 (Tamworth - Coton Green) will have a revised timetable.
   
• Arriva Midlands services 4 (Tamworth - Silverlink) will be cancelled. Leyland Road will be served by service 6. Silverlink Road will be served by service 5.
   
• Arriva Midlands services 5 (Tamworth - Amington) will have a revised route and timetable and will serve Silverlink Road.
   
• Arriva Midlands services 5 / 5A (Stafford - Telford) will have a revised timetable.
   
• Arriva Midlands services 6 (Tamworth - Nuneaton) will have a revised route and timetable. The route will terminate at Ventura Park rather than Dunstall Park and some journeys will divert to serve Leyland Road.
   
• Arriva Midlands service 7 / 7A / 7E (Tamworth - Stonydelph) will have a revised route around Stonydelph and a revised timetable.
   
• Arriva Midlands service 8 (Tamworth - Hockley) will have a revised evening timetable.
   
• New Arriva Midlands service 9 will operate an hourly, off-peak service between Tamworth and Amington Garden village.
   
• Arriva Midlands service 10 (Tamworth - Ventura Park) will be cancelled.
   
• Arriva Midlands service 765 (Tamworth - Lichfield) will have a revised route and timetable. Some journeys will operate via Ventura Park and Dunstall Park.
   
• Arriva Midlands service X38 (Burton - Derby) will have a revised timetable.
   
• Arriva Midlands service X65 (Tamworth - Lichfield) will have a revised timetable.

from 1 September

• Chaserider service 1 (Huntington - Great Wyrley) will have minor timetable revisions.
   
• D&G Bus services 1 / 1A (Audley - Meir) will have minor timetable revisions.
   
• Chaserider service 5 (Codsall - Wolverhampton) will have minor timetable changes in Whitmore Reans.
   
• D&G Bus service 7 (Kidsgrove - Hanley) will have a revised timetable.
   
• D&G Bus service 7A (Biddulph - Hanley) will have minor timetable revisions.
   
• D&G Bus services 8A (Endon - Hanley) will have minor timetable revisions.
   
• New Select Bus service 9S will operate a return trip on schooldays between Colwich, Great Haywood, Hixon and Weston Road Academy.
   
• Service 18 is a new Monday to Saturday service between Perton and Codsall, operated by National Express WM. This service will operate half hourly Monday to Friday and hourly on Saturdays.
   
• Chaserider service 25 (Wolverhampton - Pendeford) will have minor timetable revisions and a route change in Wolverhampton.
   
• Aimee’s Travel service 30A (Leek - Cheadle) will have a revised route and timetable, it will now operate as a circular route continuing from Cheadle back to Leek via Cheddleton in the mornings and starting from Leek via Cheddleton to Cheadle in the afternoons.
   
• D&G Bus services 32/32A/32X (Uttoxeter - Hanley) will have minor timetable revisions.
   
• D&G Bus services 34 (Newcastle - Bradwell) will have minor timetable revisions.
   
• D&G Bus service 35 (Newcastle - Chesterton) will have a revised route and timetable.
   
• Chaserider service 60 (Lichfield - Cannock) will have a revised Sunday timetable.
   
• Service 64 (Hanley - Market Drayton) will be operated by D&G Bus with timetable and slight route revisions.
   
• Chaserider service 74 (Stafford - Cannock) will have minor timetable revisions.
   
• D&G Bus services 94 (Newcastle - Congleton) will have minor timetable revisions.
   
• D&G Bus service 95 (Biddulph - Audley) will have a revised route and timetable and no longer serve Wood Lane.
   
• D&G Bus service 102 (Stone - Swynnerton / Norton Bridge) will have a revised route and timetable with additional school journeys from Stone to Eccleshall.
   
• Services 103/104 (Stone - Eccleshall/Barlaston) will be operated by Carolean Coaches. 
   
• D&G Bus services 104 (Newcastle - Hanley) will have minor timetable revisions.
   
• Service 151 is a new hourly, Monday to Saturday service between Stone and Rugeley, serving Aston Lodge, Burston, Sandon, Weston, Hixon and Great Haywood. This will be a 12-month trail service operated by Chaserider.
   
• Select Bus 812 (Coven - Wolgarston) will have a revised timetable.
   
• Chaserider services 826 / 828 / 828A (Stafford - Lichfield) will have a revised Monday to Saturday timetable. 
   
• Chaserider services 828A (Stafford - Rugeley) will have minor timetable revisions.
   
• Select Bus service 875 (Stafford - Cannock) will have a slight timetable and route change with some journeys diverting to serve Rodbaston College.
   
• Select Bus service 876 (Stafford - Wolverhampton) will have a slight timetable and route change with the 1201 bus from Wolverhampton diverting to serve Rodbaston College on Wednesdays.
   
• Select Bus service 878 (Stafford - Coven) will have a revised route and timetable.
   
• New Select Bus service 880 will operate a return trip on schooldays between Wheaton Aston, Bishops Wood, Brewood, Coven and Wolgarston High School.
   
• D&G Bus service A (Stone - Aston Lodge) will be cancelled. Aston Lodge will instead be served by the new Chaserider service 151 between Stone and Rugeley.
   
• D&G Bus service K (Chesterton - Keele) will have a revised timetable with less frequent journeys on Saturdays and during Keele University holidays.
   
• Seasonal Arriva Midlands Service DM1 (Birmingham - Drayton Manor Park) finishes.
   

• Seasonal Arriva Midlands Service TZ2 (Lichfield - Twycross Zoo) finishes.

   

from 1 September to 9 October – Acorn Inn roadworks

• The junction at Acorn Inn, Rough Hay will be closed for roadworks. Services 10S, 809, 810 and 832 will be operating a revised route and timetable during this period. • Chaserider service 828 (Stafford - Lichfield) will operate a revised timetable leaving 5 minutes later from Stafford.

from 13 September

• Service 828 (Stafford - Lichfield) will be operated by Carolean Coaches on Sundays with a revised timetable.

from 26 September to 1 November

• Albatross Bus service X80 (Derby - Alton Towers) will operate additional journeys during Scarefest. 

from 6 August

• Stagecoach service 15 (Tamworth - Hurley) and Diamond Bus services 76A/76B/76C (Tamworth - Kingsbury) will revert to the usual route and timetable following the re-opening of Hurley Common.  

from 10 August

• Evolve Bus service The Little Acorn (Burton - Rough Hay) will have a revised timetable.
• The Monday to Friday journeys currently operated by Bus Link on services 31 / 32 (Lichfield Circulars) will be operated by Evolve Bus with the same route and timetable. Bus Link will continue to operate Saturday journeys and the Diamond Bus journeys will be unchanged.

from 20 August

• Diamond Bus service 4 (Burton - Swadlincote) will have a revised route and timetable, serving Brizlincote and extending to Ashby. A Saturday service will also be introduced between Swadlincote and Ashby only.
• Diamond Bus service 18 (Burton - Winshill) will be renumbered as 18A on Saturdays with a revised route to serve Brizlincote.
• Diamond Bus service 19 (Burton - Ashby) will be cancelled. Ashby and Brizlincote will be served by a revised service 4. 19A and 19C will continue unchanged.

from 29 August

• Arriva Midlands services 5/5A (Stafford - Telford) will have a revised timetable and a revised route in Telford. Update - changes to the 5/5A have been postponed until the end of October.
• Arriva Midlands service 6 (Tamworth - Nuneaton) will have an additional morning journey between Tamworth and Dunstall Park.
• Arriva Midlands service 8 (Tamworth - Hockley) will have a revised route at school times.
• Arriva Midlands service 10 (Tamworth - Ventura Park) will have a revised route and timetable and will no longer serve Corporation Street.
• Stagecoach Sunday service 15 (Tamworth - Hurley) will be replaced by Arriva Midlands new 76B service.
• Arriva Midlands service 65A (Tamworth - Hurley) will be cancelled.
• Stagecoach service 766 (Tamworth - Nuneaton) will have a revised timetable.
• Services 785 / 786 (Tamworth - Austrey Circulars) will be operated by South Staffs Monday to Saturday and Arriva Midlands on Sundays. There will be some changes to the Monday to Saturday timetables.

from 30 August

• National Express WM service 4 (Warstones - i54) will have a revised timetable.
• National Express WM service 6 (Walsall - Sutton Coldfield) will have a revised timetable.
• National Express WM service 6/6A (Wolverhampton - Wobaston) will have a revised timetable.
• National Express WM service 8 (Lichfield - Walsall) will have a revised timetable.
• National Express WM service 10/10A (Pattingham / Perton - Wolverhampton) will have a revised timetable. Service 10A will now operate on Saturdays.
• Select Bus service 12 (Stafford - Doxey) will have a revised timetable.
• National Express WM service 16/16A (Wolverhampton - Stourbridge) will have a revised timetable.
• National Express WM service X51 (Cannock - Birmingham) will have a revised timetable.

from 31 August

• Evolve Bus services 31 / 32 (Lichfield Circulars) will have a revised timetable. 

from 4 July 

• New seasonal Albatross Coaches service X80 will operate a daily return journey between Derby, Uttoxeter and Alton Towers. 

from 5 July 

• Service 18 (Leek - Hanley) will be operated on Sundays and bank holidays by Stanton’s of Stoke. There will be minor timetable changes and a new 0830 journey from Endon to Hanley. 

from 18 July 

• New seasonal Arriva Midlands service DM1 will operate a Monday to Saturday return journey between Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield and Drayton Manor Park. 
• New seasonal Arriva Midlands service TZ2 will operate a Monday to Saturday return journey between Lichfield, Tamworth and Twycross Zoo.
