Access to businesses

Access to businesses between Riverway and Weeping Cross   

Between Riverway and Queensville Roundabout 

There is no restriction on access from Riverway out of town to all businesses including Queensville Stores, B&Q, Queens Retail Park and Spittal Brook PH etc. during the daytime.  

Access will be restricted during the nighttime surfacing works during weeknights from 8pm to 6am, commencing on 28th August until approximately 10th October. Between 9th and 19th September, the nighttime closures will be removed for site testing. Road closures will start 8pm on Mondays and end 6am on Saturdays, with no access for through traffic.  

Along Silkmore Lane – Queensville Roundabout  

There is no restriction on access.  

Silkmore Lane towards Rickerscote Road (A449) forms part of the diversion route.   

Businesses between Riverway and Queensville Roundabout 

There is no restriction on access from Riverway out of town to all businesses including Queensville Stores, B&Q, Queens Retail Park and Spittal Brook PH etc. during the daytime.   

There will be no access from Queensville Roundabout except for Queensville Stores  

There will be no through route for traffic during the night-time road closures from 28/08/25 – 10/10/25 except for access to frontages which will be restricted   

Queens Retail Park  

There is no restriction on access from Riverway. Exit from the Retail Park into town from Queensville roundabout to Riverway will be via the signed diversion route. (Silkmore Lane, A449 Wolverhampton Road and A34 Lichfield Road).
