Universal funding

Universal funding is available for all children aged 3 and 4 years old to attend early years provision.  Currently the universal funding available to early years providers is the 15 hours EEF funding.  More information and how to apply can be found on the Staffordshire EY portal .

The childcare calculator  may be useful in locating child care.

There are some other additional funding streams available to families depending on the child’s circumstances, for example:

  1. Think 2 funding

  2. 30 hours funding

  3. Universal Credit

  4. Tax Credits

  5. Tax-free childcare

  6. Care to learn

  7. Learner Support

  8. Childcare Grant
