Information on Scheme development

On selection of a preferred option, the Design Team (Architect/Surveyor/Engineer) will develop the project to a stage where Planning and Building Regulation approval can be sought, tenders requested from contractors and a contract or official order issued. This process will include the following stages;

  • Production of the drawings and relevant contract documentation
  • Programme of works
  • Application for Building Regulation and Planning Approval
  • Development of the Health and Safety file in accordance with the Construction Design Management Regulations
  • Production of a Risk Management Strategy
  • Incorporation of the sustainability policy
  • Liaise with other bodies to ensure compliance and approvals are obtained.
