Who is the course aimed at
The course is ideal if you're returning to work or looking to kickstart your career in a new industry. The Skills Bootcamps are funded by the UK government, meaning they're available at no cost providing the eligibility criteria is met. For employers, you will pay a small proportion of the costs, which is often 10% for small/medium-sized businesses (SMEs with fewer than 250 employees), or 30% for larger employers.

Learning support
You will have a dedicated tutor throughout the programme, who will adapt their delivery to suit your individual needs. There is also an engagement officer assigned to the course, who will support with pastoral needs. We complete a neurodiversity screener during the sign-up process, which helps us to understand how you prefer to learn, and the things you may find more difficult. We provide support with accessing technology where needed.
How you will be assessed
We will complete an advice and guidance session with you, where we get to know you and your starting points, what your goals are, and if there are any barriers for you completing the course. During the course, your contribution to the training and activities will be informally assessed by the Tutor.
What can learners do next/progress onto
