This course provides an introduction to Forest Bathing. We will delve into the science behind this practice and consider how to adapt ideas for everyday life.

Learning methods

This is a 12-hour blended learning course. The first part of the course (4 hrs) will be a chance for independent learning, using the welcome email pack to guide you through the course introduction and starter activities. There will then be two face to face sessions (4hrs each day), where we will meet as a group to connect and try a variety of nature based ideas to support wellbeing.

Learning materials

We provide you with engaging learning materials and access to digital resources. For the face to face sessions we ask everyone to bring something to sit or lie on, such as a picnic blanket, yoga mat or plastic bag. You will need to bring your own lunch to the face to face sessions.

Your tutor guides this course and provides expert support wherever needed. We offer choice and flexibility to provide a quality learning experience. We work together to ensure the course is accessible and works for you. We offer a personal approach to our courses and are on hand to help and support throughout. Through WhatsApp groups and online platforms, we encourage learners to help each other in between the face-to-face sessions, to create a supportive learning environment.
