A new appointment has been made to Staffordshire County Council’s Cabinet.
Patrick Allen becomes the new Cabinet Member for Communities and Culture. Patrick, the county councillor for Uttoxeter Town, previously held the role of Cabinet Support Member for highways north.
Acting Council Leader Hayley Coles, who formerly held the communities and culture portfolio, said:
This really is a fantastic portfolio and I am confident it will be in very safe hands with Pat.”
Patrick added:
I am privileged to be appointed to this new role and look forward to serving and working with our communities on this hugely important area of work.”
Confirmation of Leader and Deputy Leader of the Council will take place at a meeting of Full Council in December. Hayley currently holds the position of Acting Leader and Sean Bagguley, Acting Deputy Leader.
