Repairs to Hemlock Way in Cannock have now been completed, with the road reopened as normal.
The overnight works repaired road defects while helping to keep disruption to a minimum for residents, businesses and drivers.
The scheme is part of Staffordshire County Council’s £15 million investment to improve local roads, tackle defects and support smoother, safer journeys across the county.
Daniel Cecil, Staffordshire County Council’s Cabinet Support Member for Highways South, said:
“It’s good news that these repairs on Hemlock Way are now complete and the road is back open as normal.
“We know roadworks can be frustrating, so I want to thank residents, businesses and drivers for their patience while this important work was carried out.
“By completing the repairs overnight, we were able to reduce disruption while making the improvements needed to tackle defects and support smoother, safer journeys through this busy part of Cannock.
“This scheme is part of our wider £15 million investment to improve local roads, fix defects and keep Staffordshire moving. There is always more to do, but we are focused on delivering practical improvements that make a real difference for local communities."
The county council is thanking residents, businesses and road users for their patience while the works were carried out.
