Get your winter vaccines
Vaccines offer the best protection against viruses like flu (and COVID‑19). Those most at risk are offered free vaccinations through the NHS. Book, change or cancel a free NHS flu vaccination at a pharmacy - NHS.
- Flu vaccine: offered to groups including older people, people with certain health conditions, pregnant women, care home residents and children (usually a nasal spray for ages 2–16). Details and booking via NHS and national booking system/pharmacies.
- Carers: If you’re the main carer for an elderly or disabled person, ask your GP/pharmacist about a free flu jab.

If you’re 40–74 and eligible, you can book a free NHS Health Checks - Everyone Health Staffordshire (Or text Heart to 60777 or call 0333 005 0095).
