Applications

We handle planning applications for minerals and waste development, and planning applications made by Staffordshire County Council for its own developments.

From about mid-July 2021 we changed the way we reference applications.

Before we used the relevant District. Year/Number e.g. CH.18/01 and added a site reference number for quarries and waste sites e.g. CH.18/01/721 MW. We also added a 'D' and a number for related details e.g. CH.18/01 D1 and CH.18/01/721 MW D1.

To correspond with the introduction of a new back-office system we decided to adopt auto-numbering. We will use SCC to identify that it is a County Council case / a unique number / the application type e.g. SCC/0001/FULL.
