Earth Day 2022

It's Earth Day on Friday 22 April and a chance to think about what more we can all do to help combat climate change.Earth Day 2022 - Giant Carbon Bubble Display

If you're in Stafford town centre on the day, between 10am and 6pm, go and have a look at our 10ft inflatable sphere. The bubble is being installed to help residents visualise what one tonne of carbon looks like and get people thinking about how they can change their daily activities to reduce their carbon emissions.

This is a low carbon event. The bubble is being transported to Stafford using two electric vehicles. It's inflated using Green D+ fuel which is fossil free and made from 100% renewable energy sources. The bubble is also made of bio-degradable nylon.
