Data Protection Complaints
A Data Protection Complaint is a report of a potential breach of data protection legislation or concern about how personal data has been handled by Staffordshire County Council.
Examples of DP complaints include:
- Report of a data breach
- How your personal data has been or is being processed
- Security measures used to store your information.
As part of your complaint, please provide the following:
- Your full name
- Email/telephone/address
- Details of your complaint
- Impact/what effect this has had on you or others
- Your ideal resolution/outcome.
We will aim to acknowledge your Data Protection Complaint within 3 working days and provide a response to your complaint within 1 calendar month of receipt.
If you are unhappy with our response, you can raise your concern or complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
