Your Early Help Team
We’re here to help children, young people and families when things get tough.
What is an Early Help Team?
An Early Help Team is a group of people who work with families in your area.
They help with problems before they get worse.
You might have met someone from the team before.
What do we do?
We help in 4 main ways:
- Advice and support – we listen and give helpful ideas
- One-to-one help – we work with children and families directly
- Group and family sessions – we run activities and support groups
- School support – we work with schools to help pupils
We aim to:
- Spot problems early
- Give the right help at the right time
- Be a local contact for support services
- Work together with schools and other services
