Signposting and Resources Training
This training video is available to everybody in Staffordshire, particularly voluntary sector organisations, adult social care staff and wider partners.
This session will cover:
- Information, advice and guidance on Staffordshire County Council’s website to help older people stay healthy and independent.
- How to effectively use Staffordshire Connects – our online directory of community-based support, groups, organisations and services in Staffordshire.
- Signposting to further support.

Once you’ve watched a session please fill out our Training Evaluation. A certificate and presentation slides will then be emailed to you when this is complete. Please note: This session was recorded during the Covid pandemic and all information was correct at the time of recording. The majority of information covered in the training video is still relevant, however as the Staffordshire County Council webpages have recently been refreshed, some sections have been moved e.g. the ‘Keeping well and staying healthy’ section has been moved to ‘Health, wellbeing and leisure’. And some sections have been renamed e.g. ‘Help and support with daily living’ is now called ‘Help with your life’.
