Wood fuel

Wood Fuel Trading and Consulting provides a sustainable source of high quality wood fuels and advice to existing and potential biomass users within Staffordshire and its surrounding counties.

We provide services for both private and public sector organisations.

We are a key part of Staffordshire County Council's drive to reduce costs, increase efficiency and reduce carbon emissions across the county.

What's on offer?

High quality, dependable and affordable fuel is the key to running a successful biomass installation.

We use sustainable, locally sourced timber from our own estate and from private woodland owners. To ensure a secure supply, we never cut more than can be grown.

Our wood chips are an average size of 30mm in diameter and are supplied at a moisture content of less than 30%. You can be sure that our fuel is of the highest quality, allowing your biomass system to operate at maximum efficiency.

We offer wood fuel contracts from a single load through to a five year supply contract. We are happy to supply our fuels in tonnes, cubic metres or kWh.

Where can I get help?

Wood Fuel Trading & Consulting offers a complimentary service to help you with your biomass installation. We are not aligned to any supplier and can offer a completely unbiased advice service to you at any point in the design and planning stage of an installation.

Fuel supply and handling is integral to the success of all biomass systems. We can offer support in specifying your biomass system, whilst looking at your wood fuel storage options, and examining the logistics of wood fuel supply.

We also offer advice on the general design principles of biomass systems. Our established links to consultants in the private sector can help to deliver an efficient heating solution.
