School uniforms

The policy states that uniforms in our maintained schools should not be compulsory.

Most schools have a voluntary dress code which has been agreed with parents.

You can get information on school uniform and guidelines on clothing from your child's school.

Grants

In exceptional cases, grants towards cost may be available.

For further information about grants for school uniforms you will need to contact the school your child attends.

Please note: There are no grants available for first or primary schools.
