Citizens Advice

Citizens Advice provides free, confidential, impartial and independent advice.

We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination. We offer face to face advice and advice by telephone on a range of issues including debt, benefits, housing, employment, family and relationship matters and consumer advice.

Our one to one money management sessions aim to help with numeracy skill development for practical applications around budgeting, understanding how to draw up and maintain a weekly budget (and convert it into monthly as required), understanding bills, credit and saving. It will utilise tools such as simple spending diaries making Staffordshire residents better able to make rational choices about economies and changes they can make to spending habits.

Learning includes saving money ideas, social tariffs and using safe websites online to reduce spending/bills
