We have an important role to play in supporting the priority outcomes in the Staffordshire County Council strategic plan.
Community Learning Priorities and Subcontracting Policy 2023-2027
Community Learning closely aligns to the Council’s strategic outcomes and priorities. The overarching outcomes of the Service are as follows:
- Community Learning courses will contribute to better health and wellbeing, confidence, resilience, and independence for all Learners, leading to raised aspirations.
- Learners and families who participate in Community Learning courses gain the skills they need to achieve their personal aspirations, including making progress towards good jobs and giving their children the best start in life.
- Bring local communities together through the promotion and delivery of lifelong learning to bring about new opportunities and improve lives, whatever people’s circumstances.
Skills Bootcamps
The Council welcomes applications for funding for the delivery of Skills Bootcamps in Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent for the Financial Year 2026-2027 (1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027).
Please read the Skills Bootcamps Specification prior to fully completing the Skills Bootcamps Application Template.
Completed application forms and required documentation and policies must be submitted to skillsbootcamps@staffordshire.gov.uk by Monday 2 February 2026 12 noon.
