Who is this course aimed at?

The course is aimed at Staffordshire residents aged 19+.  This course is designed for student who are interested in exploring the fundamentals of CNC  machine operations. 

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements.

Course Content

This Introductory CNC programming course provides students with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to operate and programme computer numerical control (CNC) machines. 

Learning Methods

You will be taught face to face  by a friendly and experienced teacher

Learner Support

Classes are small to ensure your teacher can provide you with the help and support you need to enable you to confidently access the class learning materials. Individual specific needs will be discuss at the start of the course. 

Course Assessments

There are no tests or exams. You’ll learn through fun, practical tasks and your tutor will give you regular feedback. You will track your progress on a simple learning plan together with your teacher.

Learning Materials

Once the course commences, all learners materials will be provided. 

What can learners do next/progress onto?

During the course you will explore progression options such as higher level study to support career ambitions in Engineering and advanced Manufacturing.

Are there any fees?

This course is fully funded and so there are no course fees.
