Review - Hearing impairment

Regular reviews should be held at least termly and must include parent/carers and pupil. Review should focus on pupil progress, effectiveness of strategies, new information or factors and the setting of new outcomes.

The involvement of additonal outside agencies, as well as the HI service may need to be discussed depending on need and progress.

This could be further involvement from the Speech and Language Service if there are additional concerns about language or the Educational Psychology Service if there are additional concerns about learning and/or behaviour.

Please also refer to the other sections of this guidance for more information on meeting learning and SEMH needs.
